#octwritingchallenge : An impulse buy leading to intergalactic warfare

Did I regret it? No.

Did I know things would turn like this? No.

Given a chance, would I change? Hell, no.

So, why bothered with all of these different scenarios if things happened this way anyway? It’s funny, despite our incredible technology and how far the human race had progressed, no one yet invented the time machine. Even in the middle of this nasty war, where nuclear power became the source of weapons and the scene from Star Wars no longer existed only on the screen.

In my point of view, ridiculous.

Those scientists should work harder and those politicians should negotiate better.

To be perfectly honest with you, this wasn’t my intention in the first place. The whole situation happened out of my kindness-okay, I admit there was a tiny bit of selfish motive, but still… kindness-. A girl just has her need, and I’m one who would do anything to fulfil it. I mean, women empowerment and such, right? Moreover, as a capable one, I’m able to swipe my debit card anytime I want.

Carla is majestic — of course, I chose her, or she chose me, whatever.

But no one in the right mind would think if she was a kind of Goddess icon for some long lost race out in the space. Yes, no one. Including me. I mean, she couldn’t even clean her sandbox, let alone afford her-oh so expensive specific brand of kibble.

Get over it, alien princess or not, one fact remains.

The cat is mine.
